The Breathers pilot is a finalist in the 2011 Script Pipeline’s TV competition! This is great because not only do we have a shot at winning some cash-y money to move this project forward, but we also get a chance to pitch Breathers to a number of studios! Out of over 3,500 total entries for both the screenwriting and TV writing contests we are one of twenty total finalists, and one of ten TV writing finalists.

We also get:

• Circulation of the script and logline to appx. 200 companies, who have either requested to read the script based on the logline, or will read all finalist scripts regardless.
• 5-year Writers Database memberships
• Additional assistance from the Script Pipeline judges and readers to help polish the script.
• Free entry to the Secret Door Pitchfest where we will get a chance to pitch to 20+ Studios including WB, Universal, Lakeshore, and many others!

This is great news for Breathers as we enter the final push to finish the short film. Hopefully we’ll have a shiny new finished trailer to take out to LA with us.
